Harrods launches rewards program to boost beauty

Not all rewards programmes are for mainstream retailers. Luxury retailer Harrods launched “MyBeauty From Harrods Rewards”, a program that caters to its beauty customers.

MyBeauty members have access to a variety of benefits that are only available to them as part of the program. These benefits include points for all beauty purchases, invitations to events, special offers and promotions throughout the year, as well as first access to new launches.

MyBeauty, a hub for H Beauty customers, is available in five UK locations, online and at Harrods’ London Knightsbridge flagship.

Harrods Rewards members must be a member to sign up for additional perks and join the rewards program. The programme is completely free for existing and new Harrods Rewards members.

Members will get PS20 in Rewards points for their first PS25 purchase, and double Rewards points for all beauty purchases until November 6.

Harrods will celebrate the launch by bringing the “H beauty carnival” to each of its five H Beauty shops on consecutive weekends in October and November. It is exclusive to members and will feature a variety of entertainments including masterclasses, DJs, live DJs, a carnival themed Champagne Bar Takeover, beauty vending machines, and a build-yourself-goody bag for customers who spend at least PS50 in-store. Harrods said that members are eligible to receive tickets for free, but they must book a time slot in order to be guaranteed a spot.

The H beauty Carnival timings: Gateshead, 8-9 Oct; Milton Keynes 15-16 Oct; Bristol 22-23 Oct; Lakeside, 29-30 October; Edinburgh, 5-6 Nov.
