Topgolf is set to get swinging south of Seattle with its latest, tech-enabled golf course, which has the opening scheduled on Friday on the 17th of May in Renton, Wash.
The company’s new 78th venue is the first venue in Washington state. It will be equipped with three levels and an open-air hitting area with 102 bays. Topgolf will also be providing Toptracer which is a ball-tracing system that powers the cutting-edge driving range, so that golfers can enjoy games such like “Angry Birds” and “Jewel Jam.”
In addition to a variety of beverages, food, and entertainment, the venue will also include an indoor Swing Suite simulator bays powered by Full Swing technology, for an additional way to enjoy golf as well as other games of sports.
“Bringing our golf experience that is technology-enabled to players in the greater Seattle region, where technology is at the heart of every aspect is something we’ve been anticipating for years,” Topgolf COO Genifer Gray told the media in a press announcement.
Topgolf is promoting the company’s first central atrium that is skylit in design at its Renton location. With seating, games for the yard and a massive projection screen in the center, it is a an ideal hangout space that connects the gaming experience with the bars, patios and rooftop terraces.
Topgolf Renton-Seattle first revealed on August 20, 2021 will be situated on Logan Avenue near Boeing’s factory and The Landing, an expansive shopping and dining development that debuted in 2007.
This company first landed in the Seattle region in January 2020 . It was the first “Lounge created by Topgolf” idea which is an indoor venue that blends virtual sports with beverages and food options. The lounge covers 9,200 square feet. located on the 2nd level of Kirkland Urban, a 1.2 million square feet mixed use development located just from Seattle located in Kirkland, Wash. Google bought the website in September of this year.
Topgolf promises to employ about 500 employees at its Renton facility.
